Buried Treasure Liquid Nutrients
The Liquid Advantage for Superior Absorption
Most experts agree that the need for nutritional supplements is greater today than ever before because the majority of our food supply is over processed and adulterated, leading to a depleted nutrient content.
For nutrients to be effective, they must be absorbed by blood cells from the bloodstream after passing through the digestive tract. Your digestive system should not be taxed to break down additives such as binders, fillers, the other tenants, lubricants, and excipients found in tablets, capsules and softgel caps.
Research shows that after age 50, the utilization of essential nutrients is greatly reduced. So when nutrient absorption may be most critical, our bodies lack the ability to break down tablets, capsules, and softgel caps. The ultimate goal of all supplements is to become a liquid through digestion. Buried Treasure products start out as a liquid! Do you know where your supplement is after 45 minutes? 2 hours? 6 hours?
For increased absorption and bioavailability choose buried treasure. SUPPLEMENTS IN CAPSULES AND TABLETS ARE NOW HARDER TO SWALLOW! Hidden Hazards
Under new labeling laws, dietary supplement companies will have the new “Supplement Facts” label attached, similar to the one now required for foods. Under “Other Ingredients” just below the supplement facts box, you will find these additives.
- Binders (to bind tablets together)
- Lubricants (assists powder flow in manufacturing)
- Coatings (coats tablets for easier swallowing)
- Colorings (cosmetic reasons)
- Fillers (used to fill space)
Following the practices of the drug industry, many “natural” supplements contain an intensive list of synthetic fillers. The more filler, the cheaper the supplement. “Natural Source” can mean animal, vegetable or mineral source. Most often in the health food industry, it means an animal source. Be wary of this term. The most commonly used excipients in drugs, vitamins, minerals and other tablet items are listed as follows:
Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Stearic Acid, Croscarmellose Sodium, Gelatin, Monoglycerides, Diglycerides, Sorbitol, Methylcellulose, Lactose, Pharmaceutical Glaze, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Sodium Laurel Sulfate.
*** Although most healthy people will have no obvious immediate side effects from ingesting these additives, the long term consequences of continuous daily intakes may prove to be potentially harmful.

Nutritional Supplements! There is a Difference!
There is nothing more valuable than your health and wellness. So, why do so many people simply buy whatever vitamin is on the shelf at the grocery or drugstore, without determining which is best?

Eating right isn't enough anymore. You try to eat pretty healthy. You exercise. You take a daily vitamin purchased from the grocery store. All your bases are covered, right? Wrong. Eating healthy falls short of covering your bases when it comes to nutrition.
Minerals are responsible for more than 300 biochemical, life-sustaining reactions in the human body. However, minerals are not found in the same abundance today as they used to be, due to agricultural procedures practiced over the past several decades. According to two-time Nobel Prize winner Linus Paulding, every ailment, every sickness and every disease can be traced to an organic mineral deficiency. People are not getting the proper organically complex (carbon bound) trace minerals and nutrients to provide homeostasis (body balance) as nature intended.
Dr. Donald Davis, biochemist at the University of Texas at Austin, discovered that of the 13 major nutrients found in fruits and vegetables six have declined substantially over the years. He used 2006 data from the US Department of Agriculture to determine that there are dramatically lower (as much as 38% lower) levels of protein, calcium, vitamin C, phosphorus, iron and riboflavin in current produce as compared with produce from past decades. For example, research clearly shows that the larger the yield of wheat, the lower the nutrients. So, we need to supplement.
What's wrong with an off-the-shelf vitamin? What kind of multivitamin should we purchase? Let's start with the different types of vitamins on the market. Four basic kinds of vitamins are sold today: natural, synthetic, organic and carbon based organic. Synthetic vitamins: scientists have developed synthetic vitamins that are cheap to manufacture however, synthetic vitamins are known to be less bioavailable; therefore: less effective than naturally occurring vitamins. For example, natural vitamin E is retained by a 2:1 ratio over the synthetic form.
Natural vitamins: natural is defined as a concentrated nutrient derived from a quality natural source, with maximum retention of the natural material; no artificial colors, sweeteners or preservatives should be used.
Organic vitamins: there are two types of organic supplements found in the market. The "grocery store" definition of organic is whole food derived nutrients minus the insecticides, pesticides and herbicides; manufactured from ingredients that are certified organic. These supplements, if in tablet form, also might suffer less than optimal absorption due to the technology used to press them into tablets. The scientific definition of organic is related or belonging to the class of chemical compounds having a living carbon basis. A carbon based organic supplements has living carbon wrapped around its nutrients. These supplements must be cold processed to preserve the living matter in the product.
